WEEKLY REFLECTION - SEVENTH WEEK (Second phase)

It was the seventh week of second phase teaching practice.

On 15th August 2022 (Monday) :- There was no regular classes on this day and the school had organised and conducted a lot of programs related to independence day.

On 16th August 2022 (Tuesday) :- It was the 24th day of second phase internship programme. As per the timetable today i had a class at 8H. It was the seventh class of the chapter "Force" and so i taught them about "Liquid pressure". Also i got a substitution duty at 9E class and so i taught them how to calculate oxidation number of given compounds.

On 17th August 2022 (Wednesday) :- It was the 25th day of second phase internship programme. As per the timetable on this day there was no classes for me. But i got  substitution duty at 9E and i taught them about how the change in the nature of reactant affect the rate of a chemical reaction.

On 18th August 2022 (Thursday) :- There was no classes on this day as it was a public holiday.

On 19th August 2022 (Friday) :- It was the 26th day of second phase internship programme. As per the timetable today i had two classes. One is at 9E on the third period and the other is at 8H on the sixth period. It was the eighth class of the chapter "Redox reactions and rate of chemical reaction" in 9E. So i taught them about "change in the rate of a reaction with change in concentration of reactant and change in the surface area of solid reactants". In the case of 8H it was the last class of the chapter "Force" and so i taught them about "Atmospheric pressure".

On 20th August 2022 (Saturday) :- It was the 27th day of second phase internship programme. As there was a number of holidays in this month this saturday was a working day for all the schools. As per the timetable on this day there was no classes for me. But i got substitution duty at 9E and i taught them about how the change in temperature affect the rate of a chemical reaction. Also i taught about the concept 'Catalyst' and role of catalyst in a chemical reaction.

A lot of independence day programe had conducted on school as part of 75th year of Indian independence.

Friday was a great day. Because the school is providing a helping hand to an oldage home named "സ്നേഹ സ്പർശം"near the school and we also join them by donating some food items.

Friday we the trainee teachers had oganised a yoga practice in school and we taught them soorya namaskar and some breating exercises.

A conscientisation program was conducted on saturday for 9th standard students on 'Gender Equality'. It was a great experience and we presented our ideas with the help of powerpoint presentation.
