CONSCIENTIZATION PROGRAM - GENDER EQUALITY👭🧑‍🤝‍🧑👫👬

The concept of conscientization is the process of developing a critical awareness of ones social reality through reflection and action. Conscientization or critical conscious is a popular education and social concept developed by Brazillian pedagogue and educational theorist Paulo Freire.

A conscientization program was conducted on saturday for 9th standard students on 'Gender Equality'. It was a great experience as we got an oppurtunity to know the level of knowledge of current generation on this issue. Actually they had poor knowledge about gender equality and its need in society. But they showed interest in listening about this. They interacted with us actively and shared their experiences. We incorporated ower point presentation to enhance the effectiveness. Finally a student representing the entire class gave feedback to the class.
