Micro teaching👩‍🏫

Micro teaching is a scaled down sample of teaching in which a teacher teaches a small unit to a small group of 5 to 10 pupils for a small period of 5 to 10 minutes. Micro teaching procedure involves three phases. They are knowledge acquisition phase, Skill acquisition phase and Transfer phase. As a part of B. Ed curriculam we have to take micro teaching classes. Due to pandemic situation all the regular classes were switched to online mode. So micro teaching was taken at the home using available resources. For that i selected two skills. They are, 1. SUPW - Paper bag 🛍️ making

            Socially Useful Productive Work (SUPW) is a purposive productive work and services related to the needs of the child and the community, which will be proved meaningful to the learner. As a part of B.Ed curriculum, we the teacher trainees were assigned to do a Socially Useful Productive Work. My thoughts go towards the harmful effect caused by the plastic to our environment.Plastic bags are used extensively by the people in their daily life. But no one is caring about its harmful side. It is not degradable and will makes our earth a waste bin. Plastic gives out harmful gases upon heating or burning which causes air pollution and many health problems. A better solution for these problems is the usage of paper bags . Paper bags are gaining importance as these bags are 100% reusable, recyclable and biodegradable and at the same time environmental friendly and pose less threat to wildlife. 🧫🧪NATIONAL SCIENCE DAY🔍🧲

 National Science day is celebrated in India on 28 February every year to mark the discovery of the Raman effect by Indian physicist Sir C V Raman. For his discovery, Sir C V Raman was awarded the Nobel prize in physics in 1930. The theme of National Science day 2021 was, " Future of STI(Science, Technology and Innovations) : Impact on Education, skills and work". As part of the first semester B.Ed curriculum, we, the teacher trainees were assigned to do a subject association programme and physical science department selected National Science day. As February 28 was Sunday we conducted the programme on 1st March. Our respected principal Vimalakumari teacher officially inagurated the function. We conducted some programmes such as speech, poster presentations and games related to science. All the eight people actively participated in the programme and it was a great experience and informative.

Fresher's Day Celebration - JINJA💫🥳

 To welcom the new B. Ed batch (2020 - 22) of SNGK B. Ed college, our seniors had organised a fresher's party. They named the party as "JINJA". It was a memorable day. It provided a lot of fun time. A lot of games were organised by them, which was a time of laugh and enjoyment. The party gave an opportunity to know my class more and to make a friendly bond with our seniors. Without using plastics for decoration they decorated our class using flowers and beautiful leaves. The theme of the program was "Go with nature". They provided us tasty food also.
