B.Ed Physical Science

National Science day is celebrated in India on 28 February every year to mark the discovery of the Raman effect by Indian physicist Sir C V Raman. For his discovery, Sir C V Raman was awarded the Nobel prize in physics in 1930. The theme of National Science day 2022 was, "Integrated Approach in science and technology for sustainable future". Our respected principal Dr Salini Ma'am officially inagurated the function. We conducted some programmes such as speech, poster presentations and games related to science. All the people actively participated in the programme and it was a great experience and informative.

As a part of B. Ed curriculum a Field trip was conducted. The trip was to Thenmala. Thenmala is around 70Km from trivamdrum city and we set out our journey around 7.30am from pothencode. Two buses were arranged for the travel and there were 112 people including teachers and non teaching staffs. The first place we visited was the boat ride at Shenduruney wild life santuary. It was a wonderful experience. We explored one hour boat riding in the dam. Then we visited a nearby deer rehabitation centre. There we found spotted deer, sambar deer and barking deer. After the lunch we went to adventure zone. It was a great time. We all spent our time by doing a lot of activities. Balancing plank, aerial net walk, valley crossing, flying fox........... were arranged there. After a tea we return back to the college and arrived around 7.00PM.

 

We celebrated the Valentine's day in our college on February 14, 2022. It was a wonderful day. Natural science option students and teacher had organised a love letter writting competition. We distributed sweets to every one in the college.

 

 

On 24th January 2022 (Monday) :- It was the 12th day of first phase internship programme. Today i taught them about acceleration due to gravity to 9C students and Solubility to 8D students. As the class was on online mode i used ppt to take the classes. On 25th January 2022 (Tuesday) :- It was the 13th day of first phase internship programme. Today i taught them about true solution, suspention and colloid to 8A students and taught them about magnetic compass and earth as a magnet. On 26th January 2022 (Wednesday) :- It was the 14th day of first phase internship programme. Today i taught about surface tension to 8A students. On 27th January 2022 (Thursday) :- It was the 15th day of first phase internship programme. Today i taught about salts in 9A and about growing crystal experiment in class 8A. On 28th January 2022 (Friday) :- It was the 16th day of first phase internship programme. Today i taught about magnetic field through ppt and by playing video. On 29th January 2022 (Saturday) :
